Babu Owino threatens to lead Embakasi East constituents in dumping human waste at City Hall

After news emerged that human waste was dumped at Jacaranda Grounds a day before the scheduled NASA memorial, Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has strongly come out to condemn the act, asking Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to come clear the mess.

Through a post on his official Twitter page, the vocal MP threatened to mobilise his constituents living around Jacaranda Grounds in re-dumping the waste at City Hall.

The NASA memorial service, which was supposed to take place in Embakasi East from 11 am, failed to kick off after police sealed off the venue.

Raila Odinga went on to announce that through the People’s Assembly, he would be sworn in as President on Jamhuri Day.

“I will be sworn in as President of Kenya on Jamhuri Day (December 12) through the people’s assembly, and go to State House. We will meet to discuss the matter and direct on the way forward,” said Raila.

It is still unknown who was responsible for dumping human waste at Jacaranda Grounds and even though NASA supporters were stopped from gathering there, Babu Owino still seems irritated by the fact that the waste was dumped in his constituency.

@MikeSonko should come and collect the 15 lorries of feaces which was dumped on Jacaranda grounds using Nairobi County Trucks yesterday ASAP failure to which I will lead the affected Embakasi East constituents living around Jacaranda grounds in redumping the feaces at City Hall— Babu Owino™ (@Babu_Owino) November 29, 2017
