President Uhuru Kenyatta to grace Kenya Week at World Milan Expo 2015 in Italy

Nairobi, Kenya – President Uhuru Kenyatta this afternoon left the country for a four-day official visit to Italy.

While in Italy, President Kenyatta is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in Rome before attending World Expo Milan 2015 to preside over “Kenya Day” events.

President Kenyatta will also launch Kenya’s new international brand campaign.

During the “Kenya Week” at the Expo, the Government has lined up various activities, ranging from a business forum and culture day to a mini-marathon to highlight the country’s “unlimited possibilities”.

The plane carrying the President and his delegation departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 3 p.m. and was seen off by senior government officials led by Deputy President William Ruto.
