First Lady Margaret Kenyatta yesterday delivered a mobile clinic to Migori County. This makes Migori the 37th county to receive such a facility under "Beyond Zero" campaign.
Governor Okoth Obado and his wife Hellen received the clinic in the presence of ambassadors John Feakes (Australian), Jorge Juan (Sweden) and Roxanne de Bildering (Belgium) and United Nations Population Fund Kenya honorary ambassador Gina Din Kariuki.
The number of mothers going to hospital for give birth in Migori improved from 34 per cent in 2012 to 75 per cent in 2015.
