Everton have affirmed the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin from Manchester United for an underlying £20million fee – and have given him the number TWO shirt, according to the Sun.

The Frenchman was frozen out at Old Trafford by Jose Mourinho but has now rejoined with his previous Southampton boss Ronald Koeman in an arrangement which could rise to £24m.

Schneiderlin will now be hoping to make his debut against Manchester City this weekend and admits he’s delighted to be handed a fresh start after penning a four-and-a-half year contract.
