President William Ruto has been dragged into the court case facing nine officers attached to the Special Service Unit (SSU) that is linked to disappearance of two Indian nationals.
In their reply to an application by the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) to continue holding them, the officers claim their arrest and incarceration is meant to achieve a political score.
The officers are being detained in connection with the disappearance of Mohammed Zaid Kidwai, Zulfiqar Khan together their Kenyan driver Nicodemus Mwania.
