"It's going to be hard to follow that up, but we'll try," Coogler said. "It's been five years since I was here. I sat about there and we premiered the first footage from 'Black Panther 1,' and sitting next to me was our T'Challa, the late great Chadwick Boseman," he said.
In an interview with 'The Hollywood Reporter', Lupita, who plays Nakia gave an account of how it was shooting without Chadwick Boseman.
"It's been a doozy of a few years for everybody," said Nyong'o, who plays Nakia in the movies. "For us as a cast, having lost our king, Chadwick Boseman, that was a lot to process, and in many ways, we're still processing it. When you lose someone, I don't know when you stop missing them. And of course, we felt it so much, making this film without him", she said.
