Joe Jackson has been rushed to hospital after a car accident in Las Vegas. According to TMZ, Michael Jackson's father been taken to a hospital after a car accident near the Las Vegas strip. Police told the website: "Joe was a passenger in a black Jaguar when it T-boned a red SUV." According to sources, the Jackson 5's father walked into a Panda Express next to the accident scene, and sat down "wincing in pain".

He was "complaining of chest pains" and paramedics took him to a hospital in an ambulance. It's unclear who was driving Joe, or if anyone else suffered injuries. Joe recently shared his happiness at becoming a grandfather again after daughter Janet gave birth to her first child, aged 50. Popstar Janet and husband Wissam Al Mana announced the arrival of their son, Eissa Al Mana, in January. Reacting to the happy news, Joe, 88, said: “Congratulations to my daughter Janet Jackson on the birth of my Grandson. Making me a grandfather again! "Wishing you all the love and happiness a father could wish a daughter.” His message, posted on his official website, came after Janet’s sister LaToya, 60, tweeted : "How exciting! @JanetJackson, Jan and Wissam just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! "Congratulations!!! (sic)."
