During his interview on the trend with Larry Madowo, Diamond agreed that he really hopes that her daughter does not follow in his footsteps because it is not easy for female artistes he said “Mtoto wangu wa kiume ningependa awe msanii, mtoto wangu wa kike singependa awe msanii, watamla sana.”
He said that being a woman, there are already men hitting on you but being an artiste very many people know you and then there are even more people hitting on you.
He would not like that for her daughter, adding "wataniuwa kwa pressure."
