It depends, sometimes when going for a function together you can tell him what to wear for him to look smart. Normally for the man to look his best the woman needs to prepare his daily wear but not to dictate to him.
I do not think that's right. There should be a free will to do and wear what you want. Its important to know the person you are with, there are those who may not be comfortable you dictating to them but suggestions will do but not daily.
