A woman claims that a cop based in Ruaraka demanded sex and beer from her when she went to report a crime.
Speaking to The Nairobian, Jane Kagendo said she was attacked by her neighbour and when she reported the matter to the cops, the then officer-in-charge of housing asked her for sex to help her solve the case.
“I reported the matter to the police station, but the officer there asked me to buy him beer. When I told him I don’t have any money, he told me we can settle it by having sex,” she claims. However, the cop denied the claims saying,”I am not mad to demand such things.
I was not even on duty when she came to report the matter.” Ruaraka OCS Amos Ambasa told The Nairobian that, “I am aware of the case. We are investigating the matter.”
Kagengo had suffered serious injuries after her neighbour reportedly beat her following misunderstanding. “We fought over a bathroom which we share in the estate.
She came and forcefully pushed the bathroom door when my husband was bathing. I confronted her and later found her beating my daughter and that is when she picked a knife and injured me,” Kagengo claimed
