Twelve Kenyans related to diplomatic staff in Japan are back in the country safe and sound. This is the first batch of evacuees from that country in the wake of two natural disasters and the threat of nuclear contamination. Kenya’s acting foreign affairs permanent secretary ambassador Patrick Wamoto says the country is keenly monitoring the crisis in Japan and will conduct further evacuations if need arises.
