Mandamano ya kumshinikiza rais wa misri Hosni Mubarak wa Misri kung’atuka mamlakani yameingia wiki yake ya tatu maandamano ya masaa ishirini na manne yaliyopita yametajwa kuwa makubwa zaidi, tangu kuanza kwa maandamano hayo. Mubarak amekariri kwamba ataondoka mamlakani kwa amani ifikapo mwezi wa tisa wakati muhula wake utakapokamilika. Haya yanajiri huku makamu wa Rais wa Misri akisema kuwa taifa lake halipo tayari kwa siasa za demokrasia. Maandamano sawia na ya misri yanashika kasi katika mataifa ya Algeria na Yemen wakipinga utawala wa kimabavu kutoka kwa viongozi wa matifa hayo.
