Mahakama ya viwanda imeidhinisha hazina ya kitaifa ya matibabu NHIF kuongeza ada inayotolewa na wafanykazi.Hatua hiyo itawalazimu wanapokea mshara wa zaidi ya shillini laki moja kutoa shillingi elfu mbili kila mwezi nwa wanapokea chini ya shillingi elfu sita kutoa shillingi 150. Kwa sasa kila mfanyikazi hutoa shillingi 320 kila mwezi. Katibu mkuu wa COTU Francis Awtoli amekashifu hatua hiyo akisema iwapa NHIF faidi zaiai ya asilimia 200 licha ya huduma kuwa hafifu.
