Cast the net wider and avoid double standards. This was the message from members of parliament to the government as it sought to explain the grenade attack at Uhuru Park and the crackdown on referendum war mongers. Members of parliament have told the government to investigate security forces over the Sunday attack and to prosecute everyone engaged in hate speech. And as Ktn’s Emmanuel Talam reports, the government says nobody will be spared in dealing with violence and hate speech.
