The South Mugirango by-elections have attracted alot of attention by national political heavyweights. The ODM side backs Ibrahim Ochoi while a large section of the PNU side of the coalition backs immediate former M.P James Magara. The terms under which some political groupings have been formed are unclear, but it is raising questions on whether the political parties act is operational and whether it is being applied.
