Huku mafuriko yakizidi kuhangaisha wakenya katika maeneo mbalimbali humu nchini, sasa waziri mkuu Raila Odinga amesema wizara ya barabara itahitaji pesa zaidi kukarabati barabara, kwa kuwa uharibifu mkubwa wa miundo misingi unazidi kuripotiwa kila uchao. Wizara hiyo ilikuwa imetengewa shilingi bilioni mbili za kukarabati barabara kati ya Januari na Februari lakini uharibifu mkubwa unazidi kushuhudiwa kadri mvua inavyozidi kunyesha.
