Many of us make New Year's resolutions every year with the best intentions of keeping them.

Often our ambitions centre around common themes such as exercising more, eating healthier, or saving cash.

Normally, with time though, our best-laid plans often fall by the wayside.

But 2020 has truly been a unique year.

The coronavirus pandemic has drastically changed life as we know it, and none of us should feel guilty considering how much havoc has been wrecked this year.

Frankly, if you're achieving 40 per cent of what you normally would, you should count it as a massive win.

One woman left people in stitches after discovering her New Year's resolutions for 2020.

Comedian Robyn Schall's video has been viewed more than three million times since it was shared to TikTok.

In the hilarious clip, she reads out the set of goals she set herself in 2020.

And it's fair to say that the global pandemic really halted her from achieving them.

She joked: "Tell me this is not hilarious."

Her caption aptly sums up the situation: "My 2020 goal is trolling me."

In the video, Robyn breaks down in laughter as she recounts each unachievable goal.

She said:  "Goal one -  make more money, urm well I've been unemployed since March."

As she breaks down giggling, she continues: "Travel more...lose weight. Be more social."

She adds: "Cry less...cry less? I've cried every single day of this whole pandemic.

"Spend more time [giggling], spend more time with my grandma and well she died."

The tongue-in-cheek video has been viewed more than three million times and racked up an impressive 600,000 likes.

One person commented: "It's the rock bottom laugh for me."

Another joked: "I'm begging you do NOT make a 2021 list."

A third added: "This is the quintessential example that comedy and tragedy are on the same team."

A fourth sombrely replied: "You know something has gone seriously wrong in the world when we're all out here cry-laughing our way to the finish line of 2020.

"Damn."

A fifth agreed, adding: "I mean it's dark humour and I'm here for it."
