People magazine has named Michael B. Jordan as the sexiest man alive in 2020. In an interview for the magazine, the 33-year-old actor, who starred in movies such as Creed and Black Panther, alongside Chadwick Boseman, said, “It’s a good club to be a part of.”
Jordan has been advocating for social issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement. His production company, Outlier Society Productions, led the call for inclusivity in Hollywood by requiring filmmakers to have a diverse cast and crew.
“I’ve been picking my moments to make the most impact,” he said. “We can all take action—big or small—to help create the change we want to see.”
He went on to confess that much like his female fans will celebrate the news, the women in his family will be equally happy.
“When my grandmother was alive, it was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well. This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for,” he said.
