I wish to commend the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) for the mechanisms it has put in place to ensure there are enough highly qualified accounting secretarial services professionals in the country.
The body’s examination processes are not only rigorous, but their tests are also of high quality and require thorough preparations.
And so on that front, KASNEB has gone a step further in ensuring that their exams conform with international standards and it is due to launch a new syllabus. The first exam under the new syllabus will be administered later in the year.
KASNEB, under the leadership of Mr Pius Nduati, has also introduced a new course named Certified Supply and Procurement professional (CSPS).
The launch of this course or examination is timely as there is currently a very high demand for procurement professionals especially in the wake of devolution. As a beneficiary of the body’s high quality exams, all I can say is Kudos KASNEB management and staff and keep up the good work.
