Five skin care problems solved organically

Beauty

Skin care is an every ay routine and finding the right products that are effective and harmless to your skin can at times be a daunting task. Most of the chemical-based solutions to our skin problems always come with some side effects.

It is therefore, highly recommended that you go the organic way. It is less complicated and always brings about the desired effects.

The following are five organic solutions to some of the most common skin problems.

1. Acne

A mixture of organic apple cider vinegar and quality water applied to the affected area can help balance the skin’s pH level, and prevent breeding of acne-causing bacteria. Freshly squeezed lemon juice applied directly to clean skin can also help balance the skin’s pH level. Allow the lemon juice to dry for a few minutes and then rinse with cool water. Re-apply a couple of times a day.

2. Sun damage

Apple cider vinegar and onion juice, mixed together and applied to the skin, have natural, skin-lightening properties. These can help reduce the formation of those dark, discolored sun/age spots on the face.

3. Dry skin and discoloration

Cucumber is considered the epitome of freshness. They are fantastic in regard to healing skin which is damaged by sun. Patchy marks, sun burns, and dullness could be reduced by appropriate application of cucumber slices on skin.

4. Aging skin

The vitamin C present in lemons is a strong antioxidant. Besides its bleaching action, it works wonders on age spots and freckles. Just squeeze out the juice from a lemon, apply and leave on your skin for about 15 minutes every day and then rinse with plain water.

5. Sensitive skin

You have to drink water, but in moderate quantities. Water is essential to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized from within. It also helps in flushing out the toxins. Drink a maximum of 2 liters of water. You can also take the help of fresh fruit juices, smoothies, and green juices to keep up your moisture levels.
