Mum left to give birth alone as boyfriend goes on holiday with another woman

A love rat left his pregnant partner to give birth without him - so he could go on holiday to Dubai with another woman, it is claimed.

Peter O'Neill was reportedly rumbled by girlfriend Sarah Burgess when she spotted he had a tan.

Sarah, 23, had been anxious when Peter went missing for days before their son's birth, despite having previously been excited about being a dad.

He stopped returning her texts and calls, the Daily Star reports, causing additional stress for the mum-to-be.

She said Peter, 40, "disappeared" - and even his mum couldn't explain where he was, claiming he was busy with work.

When he did eventually reappear, Sarah claimed, he boasted a brand new tan which he told her came from using a sunbed.

He also claimed his phone had broken and he was "busy with work", she said.

But she was suspicious, and eventually unearthed pictures of him from the other woman's Facebook page.

Sarah told the Daily Star: "I know I’m well rid of him but I’ll never believe the cheek of him waltzing in to see his new son, after going AWOL for days, complete with a glowing tan."

She has now dumped Peter, who she met while dog walking in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Sarah believes the stress of Peter's vanishing act made her go into labour weeks early, and she gave birth to son Joseph.

It wasn't until three days after Joseph's birth that Peter finally showed up again, she said.

Eventually she found pictures of Peter on Facebook with another woman, who she messaged.

The other woman, named Nicola, had no idea about Sarah or the baby.

Peter told the Daily Star he had split with Nicola when he met Sarah and slept with her.

But he said: "I was never in a relationship with Sarah."
