FLOTUS in Africa: The story behind Melania Trumps’s sound fashion

Melania Trump is a Slovenian American former fashion model and wife to the 45th U.S President Donald Trump, the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS).

She began modelling when she was five years old and started doing commercial work at sixteen. At eighteen, she signed with a modelling agency in Milan, Italy in 1992 and became a runner up in the Jana Magazine.

After attending the University of Ljubljana for one year, she modelled for fashion houses in Paris and Millan. Later, she moved to New York city in 1966.

Her modelling career was associate with Irene Marie Models and Trump Model Management. Melanie almost immediately became an icon after her husband inauguration with various media outlets reporting on her fashion choices.

Melania Trump left Washington yesterday Monday for a four-country tour of Africa, her maiden diplomatic trip to the continent and her first big solo international trip.

The trip to Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt, will see her return to Washington on October 7th.                

She boarded her plane late Monday from Andrews Air Force base, donning a camel trench coat sunglasses and leopard-print stilettos:
