Basics every woman should know about her skin and the whole skincare process

Skincare is by all means a lifetime journey that demands commitment. At least for those who appreciate a healthy skin . The skin is the largest organ in our body so you should be very cautious and do your research on what products work for your  skin type and which ones do not. The Skin is made up of 3 layers namely: Epidermis layer, Dermis Layer and Subcutaneous Layer. The skin is repairs itself best when we are asleep than during the day.

Skincare is the range of practices that support skin integrity, enhance its appearance and relieve skin conditions. This is  why it’s always advisable to follow your skincare routine religiously. Speaking from experience, I have a normal skin but my forehead was once terrorized by zits . Luckily enough, I was able to contain them in 2 weeks.

This kind of breakage could be attributed to hormones in women. Acne is influenced by Hormones, when a woman’s androgen receptors are particularly sensitive these hormones can trigger oil production and cause skin cells to become sticky leading to clogged pores and breakouts. People with a normal skin they hardly experience the breakout but not always. In case you experience the zits, don’t scrub or pop them. Rather, continue with your skincare routine every morning and evening.  Cleanse, tone, apply serum then moisturize or you can choose to cleanse, tone then apply a thin layer of Aloe Vera Gel leave it on overnight and in a week to two weeks’ time they will disappear if the condition worsens don’t buy any cream behind the counter visit a dermatologist.
