6 things that single ladies hate hearing

Girl Talk

We are living in a generation whereby there is so much pressure on the dating life. You see your girlfriends in relationships been surprised and wearing these matchy outfits, you start feeling sorry for your heart. There is no need to; everything has its own timing. As a single lady there are lots of statements we hear often and they have become very annoying because we have waited for long.

These are the statements that most single ladies get:

You are too beautiful to be single- First and foremost, who said that beautiful, good looking individuals have to be taken? or be in a relationship. It’s just that you have not found your prince charming or rather your type.

A relationship is too much work- Many of you are victims of that phrase. Though it’s true it needs efforts but it takes two people to overcome the storms and committed to be successful. In a relationship, you need to enjoy the love and always make each other happy.

I have been heartbroken many times- This one major reason why ladies decide to stay single because of their past relationships. Heartbreaks are a blessing and curse. They are a blessing because they make you learn a lot about yourself and the relationship perspective. They are a curse because of the pain that comes after it’s not easy to move on.

I have not found the one yet- Ladies can be funny and we all know how we talk about our Mr. Rights’. We cannot find the one yet if you are not mingling. You don’t just wait for him to come and say ‘I am the one for you’ or wait for that Nigerian Pastor who holds prayers at KICC and he provides your future hubby. First, mingle and go on many dates as you can. Later, you can start ruling out who is the one for you.

Stop looking for love and let love come to you- Some women have a tendency of saying so to their girlfriends especially if they have had heartbreak after another.

Are you seeing someone yet? - This is one question that pops out once you mention you are in the single market.
