How you can change a tyre wearing heels

Lady Speak

It’s date night with your girlfriends at your favourite restaurant before you hit the club later on in the night. You’ve taken all your precious time selecting the classiest outfit to pair with the sexiest heels in your wardrobe and beat your face to perfection. You get into your Mercedes S-class, which you bought for yourself with your hard earned money, and off you drive into the night, ready for a good time.

And then there’s a hiss and the sound of a mini bomb. You have a flat tyre! There’s no car with a man in it in sight. No need to worry, here’s how you can hack it.

Make sure your car is in park and the emergency brake is applied Get your tools and a floor jack from the trunk in compartment you’ve stored them in. Get your spare tyre out from the trunk as well and put on the ground. Before you get to work, grab a mat from the inside of your car and lay it on the ground for you to kneel on without getting you or your outfit dirty. Get your mat, take a screw and undo the covering to the bolts on the tyre. Once one is unscrewed it easily comes loose Take your lug wrench to loosen the bolts (lug nuts) on the tyre. They can be pretty tough so you can just step on them to twist them if you’re body strength doesn’t do the job The reason for not using a jack up until this point is so the tyre doesn’t begin spinning while you apply the wrench. Every car has a specific place where the floor jack can latch onto, and it’s often not too far from the tyres. Make sure the floor jack is secured on and just begin twisting to raise your car ever so slightly Now you can proceed to remove the lug bolts and the tyre along with it. Attach your spare tyre into place and lower or higher your car approximately to make sure it’s in place. This is to make sure the lug bolts fit in easily without you having to struggle Fix the lug bolts in. Put them into their place and align properly before screwing them in with the wrench. Make sure it’s tight and secure; add a step onto the wrench to make sure Now you can lower your car and pack up!

It’s pretty straightforward, and you are bound to get your hands a little dirty, so maybe look out for a convenience store nearby and get a couple wipes. Now you’re good to go and have a good story to tell your friends later on too.
