Eve Bridal: Describe the first time you met.
Kevin: We met at a friend’s wedding one year ago in Kisumu. I was the best man while Irene was the maid of honour. The chemistry was instant.
Eve Bridal: Who made the first move and how did it go?
Irene: I never hit on a man so it’s definitely Kevin and he was good at it.
Eve Bridal: What struck you about her to the point of proposing?
Kevin: She’s real and she speaks her mind.
Eve Bridal: When and how did he propose?
Irene: He took me to Tribe Hotel for a drink and there he went on his knee… I hesitated for a while but eventually said yes. No one could say no to Kevin. He is so charming!
Eve Bridal: How long did it take to plan for the wedding?
Kevin: One month.
Eve Bridal: What major challenges did you encounter?
Kevin: Getting everything in place on time was a big headache. But we managed.
Eve Bridal: Your colour scheme was black and white. What inspired this?
Irene: I find black and white very stylish, plus they blend in well.
Kevin: These are my favourite colours…black also to me symbolises duty, which reminded me of my new duties as a husband.
Eve Bridal: What was the most memorable part on wedding day?
Irene: When I slipped the ring down his finger.
Kevin: When we exchanged the vows and when my parents advised me on how to be a good husband.
Eve Bridal: Where and how was the honeymoon?
Kevin: We went to Amboseli National Park but we are also planning for another one in Finland after a winter-themed wedding.
Eve Bridal: What advice would you give to love birds planning to wed soon?
Kevin: Put in place a team that won’t let you down, and of course put God first.
Eve Bridal: What are some of the adjustments you have had to make now that you are married?
Groom: I am still the same Kevin, only my status changes from single to married and hopefully soon, I will be a dad.
Bride: From now henceforth it will not be about me, but us. I will always keep in mind I have a husband to take care of.
