Some 60,000 children are at risk of health complications after eating enriched flour contaminated with aflatoxin. The kenya red cross says children in northern kenya and coast province received contaminated ‘unimix’ distributed under the ‘kenyans for kenya’ initiative. Officials say more than 300 tonnes of the flour was recalled from distribution centres. The revelation came as part of an audit report into the use of donations to the kitty.
