Lawyer by day nurse by night: Elizabeth Owusua living her childhood dream

With a drive to win and a pursuit for her dreams, the stunning Elizabeth Owusua has shown the world you can have it all. Hoping to one day become a nurse, lawyer and fashion designer, this Ghanaian beauty has managed to fulfill her childhood dream.

Despite her humble beginnings and hardships she faced growing up, Elizabeth never thought her dreams would someday become reality. She is now both a lawyer and a nurse, serving in both capacities day and night.

Elizabeth shared that she never thought her dreams would eventually become reality because of the hardship she faced growing up.

“As a child I always wanted to be a nurse, lawyer and a fashion designer all at the same time with no idea how they were going to happen because of my background,” she shares.

Elizabeth first went to the Nursing and Midwifery Training College and graduated with a Diploma in Nursing in 2008 and started working as a nurse in 2010 after national service.

From there she continued on to Central University College to top up her studies with a Degree in nursing while she worked and later graduated in 2013.

In 2014, Elizabeth applied to Gimpa Law Faculty for an LLB. While studying she continued with her nursing career, doing night shifts and gained admission to the law school in 2017. Finally after graduating from Gimpa, Elizabeth was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2019.

Elizabeth Owusua has become an internet sensation with her story being shared with hundreds of people. She is the true definition of strength and that women can have it all.
