Muthaura gets three years at KRA

President Uhuru Kenyatta has reappointed Francis Muthaura as Kenya Revenue Authority board chairman for a three-year term.

In a gazette notice published yesterday, 72-year-old Muthaura will serve a three-year term beginning October 21, 2019.

Alongside the appointment of the board chair, Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani confirmed the appointment of three other board members including Mukesh Shah, Leonard Ithau and Susan Mudhune to serve a three-year term. The three were appointed last year following a boardroom shake-up that preceded the succession of former commissioner-general John Njiraini.
