I am ready for audit, Governor Chepkwony says

Governor Paul Chepkwony (pictured) has declared that he is ready for a social audit to be conducted by constitutional commissions and independent offices.

Kericho County will host this year’s Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices congress in October.

During the event, a social audit will be conducted on the executive and county assembly.

“I will not be involved. The citizens are welcome to come to the congress and share their views," he said.

Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) Chairperson Jane said commissioners will tour the county to inspect development projects initiated with the billions of shillings received over the last seven years.

"We will audit how the county government has spent devolved funds and what it has achieved on the ground," she said.
