Leaders react to new role for CS Matiangi

Leaders have reacted differently to President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to hand Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi more powers.

Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono said he found it interesting that a minister would supervise his colleagues. “To me, it looks funny. Other Cabinet secretaries reporting to a fellow CS does not make sense. They should instead report to the President or his deputy.”
