KPA defends concession of second cargo terminal

 

Containers at the Port of Mombasa where Kenya Ports Authority and Dock Workers Union are engaged in a tussle over having the second terminal run by a private firm [FILE/STANDARD]

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) management has allayed fears that the second container terminal, to be operated by a private firm, will take away business and cause possible lay-off of workers.
