Deputy President William Ruto yesterday asked Malindi constituency voters to reject ODM at the March 7 by-election.

The DP also accused Opposition's key leaders of grabbing land in Lamu and Tana River counties during the 2008-2013 Grand Coalition government. National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale claimed there is a plot to rig the mini-poll.

Speaking at Karima grounds outside Malindi town, the DP said a vote for Jubilee's candidate Philip Charo would strengthen ties between Kilifi and the national government and foster economic development at the Coast.

He claimed Raila and ODM cannot solve land problems at the Coast because key leaders in the Opposition committed land injustices during the Grand Coalition government.
