NAIROBI: Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet is Thursday morning scheduled to visit the troubled Kihiu Mwiri land buying firm in Murang'a where more than ten directors have been killed in less than a year.

The police boss will be accompanying acting Lands Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi following the latest killing of two more directors who were executed while headed to a meeting Wednesday.

More than a dozen other directors have been kidnapped before being dumped in far flung areas while others are killed in the process, pointing to a network of criminals who are yet to be arrested.

Police have linked the killings to persistent disagreements amongst directors of the more 6000 acres of land.

But police are yet to make any arrest over the killings. A special team is set to be established to pursue the gangland killings.

It's not clear why police are unable to make any arrest over the macabre murders.

Shareholders of the land have been squabbling over ownership hence the series of murders.
