Arsenal’s Ramsey confident of winning the FA cup; convinced can win league as well

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey reckons they can still win the DOUBLE this season.

The in-form Gunners can take a huge step towards a successful FA Cup defence by winning their semi-final showdown with Championship side Reading at Wembley on Saturday, and Ramsey says they have not ruled out catching Chelsea.

The Premier League-leading Blues are seven points clear, but face a tricky clash with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge while Arsenal are battling the Royals.

If they slip up it could let Arsenal, who have won their last eight league games and host Chelsea next Sunday, back in.

Ramsey said: “Yes, that (the Double) is still a possibility. We are just trying to win our remaining games. We are on a fantastic winning run at the moment and that’s all we want to keep on doing.

“It’s going to be difficult - Chelsea will have to slip up a few times for us to catch them- but it’s still possible. You can’t rule it out.

"When you have that momentum, it is still possible. Even though it will be difficult, we have to win our remaining games and see where that leaves us.

“We’ve really stuck by each other, worked hard for each other and we want another feeling like we had last season. So we do definitely push ourselves as a team.

“This season we didn’t start too well, it was a bit interrupted, but the second half of the season we have been really good and consistent in our performances.

"I feel we are very close.”
