Section of CORD leaders want President Uhuru Kenyatta to defy ICC summons

KISUMU, KENYA: Some members of the opposition have joined their Jubilee alliance counterparts in asking President Uhuru Kenyatta to defy the International Criminal Court (ICC) summons.

Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) members including Edick Anyanga (Nyatike) Chris Wamalwa (Kimimini), Opondo Kaluma (Homa Bay Town) and Richard Onyonka (Kitutu Chache South) dismissed the order, terming it a strategy to divert attention from a case threatened with collapse.
