What happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown? The tragic story as Whitney Houston's daughter dies aged 22

Bobbi Kristina Brown has lost her six month battle for life.

The 22-year-old died on Sunday surrounded by her family, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.

Bobbi succumbed to injuries she suffered six months ago, on January 31, after being found face down in a bathtub.

A lawsuit that has come to light claims her boyfriend Nick Gordon violently assaulted her just hours before she was discovered unresponsive – in a chilling mirror of her mother’s death.

Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, has vowed to get justice for his 22-year-old daughter.

But what exactly has happened to Bobbi?

Bobbi Kristina Brown - or Krissy as she is affectionately called - was born on March 4 1993 to singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

Her grandmother is Cissy Houston, while Dionne Warwick is her mum’s cousin.

In 2012 Bobbi’s life changed forever when she was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California.

The official coroner's report showed that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.

In accordance to Whitney’s will, Bobbi was the beneficiary of Houston's entire estate including clothing, jewelry, cars, personal effects, and furniture.

The will also provided for Brown to receive trust fund payments in installments until she reaches age 30, after which time she will receive the remainder of  Whitney’s US$115 million estate.
