The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a notice to motorists, cautioning them on the use of some roads as floods continue to wreak havoc in different parts of the country.
In an advisory they shared on social media, they cautioned motorists using the Kibwezi-Mutomo-Kitui Road that a section had been overtopped due to the heavy rains.
They have asked motorists to be extra cautious when using the following routes:
Motorists have been asked to wait until water levels subside.
KeNHA also cautioned motorists using Mai Mahiu - Narok Road, especially around Suswa area that the traffic flow will experience interruptions due to the heavy siltation and debris from the surrounding hills.
