A luxurious Machakos hotel owned by Governor Alfred Mutua and his wife Lilian Ng'ang'a is open. The A &L hotel which derives its name from the couple’s initials started operating on 24 July. In a tweet a day earlier, the governor said that they’d taken all laid-down COVID-19 safety measures. According to the politician who made a name for himself in the Kenya film industry with Cobra Squad, the hotel will operate for 12 hours from 8 am.
