President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, addressed the nation on various matters of national importance in Mombasa county.

Through a press conference, the president personally took the opportunity to read his prepared speech facing cameras and the members of the press.

It was the movement of his arms toward his head and face on numerous occasions that diverted the attention of a number of viewers.

Those who noticed were mostly interested in the manner in which the president wiped the sweat using his hands.

Kale Vincent - Si mtu ampee Uhuru handkerchief jamani, he is sweating, he is wiping the sweat using his hands.

Gamal Jamil - I think handkerchief is just 100 bob. How comes our head of state is wiping his sweat with the palm of his hands.

According to research, everyone sweats differently under different circumstances, a healthy person who does hard work but does not sweat is dehydrated.

Research further indicates that depression, anxiety, and excessive sweating can sometimes occur at the same time. Certain types of anxiety may cause hyperhidrosis.

Hyperhidrosis is abnormally excessive sweating that's not necessarily related to heat or exercise.
