Be consistent — Raila Jr tells Murkomen, Kuria to be honest regarding Miguna’s situation

Just hours after Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria appeared to be empathising with Miguna Miguna’s woes, Raila Junior has hit out at the two for being inconsistent.

Coupled with evidence to prove that the two have changed tune since Miguna’s deportation in 2018, Raila Jr accused them of inconsistency and ‘false awakening.’

“Kuria and Murkomen at least be consistent, your false awakening is apparent to all,” wrote Raila Jr.

Earlier, Murkomen had lashed out at the government for not allowing Miguna into the country saying the standoff epitomizes hypocrisy despite the handshake.

He also hit out at Raila Jr, accusing him of opposing Miguna’s return for selfish reasons.

“It’s appalling that you think we should remain consistent in opposing MM’s return because it’s now aiding your course.

“Who is worse, those of us who have joined those supporting unconditional return of MM or Baba who has joined those who are erecting roadblocks against his return?” posed Murkomen.

Kuria, on his part, claimed Raila Odinga is behind Miguna’s troubles.

While speaking to the press on Wednesday, Kuria defended President Uhuru Kenyatta saying the Head of State meant every word when he said he would allow Miguna back into the country.

"When President was talking of allowing Miguna during the burial of (late and former mayor Charles) Rubia, he meant every word of it, but I have information that the person who is behind Miguna's tribulations is Raila Odinga," Kuria said.
