Song Laboso danced to even in her hospital bed

The late Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso was jovial even before her demise.

This is according to her niece Mina Laboso who stated that Jonathan Nelson’s I believe was one of Laboso’s favourite songs.

Speaking during the governor’s burial at Fort Ternan on Saturday, Mina stated that although Laboso was frail, whenever she heard the song she would attempt to move her body.

The lyrics of the song ministered to her and gave her hope even at her time of death.

The song basically speaks about having trust in the Lord and His ability to perform miracles.

The last stanza emphasizes the fact believers find perfect rest in the Lord after their demise and death relieves them of pain.

According to Mina, Laboso strongly believed in the words of the song up until the time she rested,

Jehovah, You
I trust
In You
Oh Lord
Jehovah, You
I trust
In You
I believe, I believe

You are the God of miracles
You are the God of wonders
You are the God all powerful
I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe

So long, bye bye
So long, bye bye
Goodbye to my pain
And my sorrow
So long, bye bye
