City Hall demolishes “Pimp my ride” car wash on controversial Simmers land.

Business along Nairobi’s Kenyatta Avenue came to a standstill on Monday following demolition of stalls, a car wash and a car park built on land previously occupied by Simmers Club.

The demolitions came after Nairobi Governor Michael Sonko promised so. True to his word,  County government bulldozers flattened the popular “pimp my ride” car wash and accessories shed at the junction of Kenyatta Avenue and Mundi Mbingu Street.
