Four-year-old girl narrates how she was defiled all night long

A four-year-old girl painfully narrated to the High Court in Kisumu how a man defiled her.

During the closed-door session, the four-year-old said Caleb Okumu, the accused, enticed her with chips and soda before defiling her in Nyalenda estate.

The girl went missing last August 3.

She told Kisumu Principal Magistrate Joan Wambilyanga she was playing with her friends when the man approached her and promised to buy her chips and biscuits.

“He went with me and bought me chips, then took me to his house... he stripped me and slept on me telling me that he is my uncle. I told him I felt pain but he continued as I cried. Later, he washed me...” she said.

Her father said it took him almost 24 hours to locate his daughter. “My wife called on August 3 at 6.30pm telling me my daughter was missing.

The following day I searched for her in Nyamasaria with no luck, but on my way home saw her standing at the accused's gate,” he said.

Doctors confirmed that she had been defiled.
