UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: Governor Ngilu kicks out Malombe’s top executives

Governor Charity Ngilu has kicked out all the 10 executives who worked under her predecessor, Julius Malombe.

Ms Ngilu, in an apparent move to fulfill her pledge of establishing a leaner cabinet, presented eight names of nominees for the county executive committee for vetting by the assembly.

On Tuesday, Ngilu addressed the first sitting of the county assembly where she appealed to MCAs to support her government’s radical initiatives to tackle problems of water, food, health and high poverty levels.

She promised that her administration would be non-partisan.
