Ezekiel Mutua offers cash reward to the brave journalist who saved the disabled man from the bees attack

On Wednesday 21 September, police, protesters and journalists were forced to flee the Supreme Court after they were attacked by a swarm of bees during presidential poll petition ruling.

Victor Muyakane, a KBC Journalist, has melted the hearts of many Kenyans after saving a disabled guy from being attacked by the bees. The brave journalist risked being stung by the bees as other people were fleeing the scene.

The photos of the journalist saving the disabled man on a wheel chair became an online sensation as he received heaps of praises from a lot Kenyans.

The disabled man who had suffered injuries from the bees attack was evacuated and taken to hospital by the St John's Ambulance attendants.

The Kenyan Film Classification board (KFCB) Chief Executive Officer, Ezekiel Mutua, was touched by the journalists act of heroism and offered to reward him with a sum of Sh10,000.
