NASA SCOFFS AT IEBC

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has criticised what he terms as 'secret reinstatement' of the IEBC suspended Director of ICT Mr. James Muhati.

Speaking in Kericho Thursday afternoon during NASA campaign rally, MP Junet Mohamed claimed that Mr. Muhati has been reinstated secretly by IEBC in a move that he termed suspicious.

Mr. Muhati was sent on compulsory leave by IEBC in May over claims of sabotage.

"Let the IEBC come out clean on this matter because Mr. Muhati has been reinstated at night without the knowledge of Kenyans."

He added, "We are aware that his wife works for a company that is associated with the Deputy President and hence the issue of his reinstatement is suspicious to aid in rigging the elections"

He urged Kericho residents to come out in large numbers to vote for the coalition saying the Jubilee era of looting has come to an end exuding confidence that the coalition will win the elections in the first round. He further urged the youths to be vigilant during elections to help in guarding the opposition coalition's votes.

Speaking at the event, NASA Principal and Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto urged residents to support to rise to the top saying that it is the only way to ensure development is realised in the South Rift region.

The two leaders were accompanying NASA Leader Raila Odinga who is on a campaign tour of Kericho County.
