Husband orders wife to kneel, stretch her hands like a pupil before beating her

Yemisi Akinwumi, a 39-year-old housewife in Lagos Nigeria has gone to court asking for her 20 –year long marriage to be ended, reason being, to free her from her husband, who allegedly beats her every day.

According to Yemini, her husband usually beats her like a primary school pupil, asking her to kneel down and stretch her hands before caning her. She also claims that her husband, on many occasions, threatens to end her life and dispose of her dead body without the neighbours noticing.
