Raila Odinga lashes out at President Uhuru for meddling in the opposition affairs

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has asked President Uhuru to keep off the oppositions affairs and focus on his own party.

Speaking to the press in Nairobi on Friday the ODM leader said that the president should mind his own business and leave the NASA principals alone.

Responding to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s comments while in Narok Raila said that the president has a mandate of delivering the promises he made to Kenyans when they elected him in office. He added that Jubilee should not be concerned with what is going on in NASA because NASA is democratic, unlike Jubilee Party.

“ Leaves us alone, you should not tell us what to do and how to do it.You are talking about us having preliminaries yet you people in Jubilee you just sat in a boardroom and decided that Uhuru will be your flag bearer and Ruto his deputy without really minding other people's take,” said Raila.

Odinga accused the president of misleading Kenyans while campaigning. He said that his development agenda to Kenyans is not true.Raila further questioned President Uhuru’s launch of projects saying that it is just to fool Kenyans.

“ Let the president be realistic. Where will they find time to do all these projects they are launching when they have only one hundred and twenty days in office. Which road will be built within that period ?” asked Raila.

According to Raila NASA will look keenly on the proposal made by the NASA technical committee that was tasked with the responsibility of helping come up with NASA’s flag bearer.

The committee is said to have preferred a Raila Kalonzo ticket.NASA leaders will go to the Coast for a three-day retreat to look at who will fly the coalition flag.

Addressed a public rally at Narok Stadium on Friday the President accused the opposition leaders of having no agenda for this country. He accused them of ganging up along tribal lines with a quest of sharing power without really having nothing to offer to Kenyans.

Uhuru urged residents of Emurua Dikkir to elect leaders who will work to achieve the vision of equitable development. Saying that the aim of the Jubilee Administration is to bring equitable development to all parts of the country.
