Premier League players' wages for this season have been revealed by Spotrac.com.
The new salary list sees Manchester United being the biggest spenders on wages for their first-team squad with striker Alexis Sanchez being among Old Trafford's best-paid players despite being out on loan at Serie A side Inter Milan.
Perhaps more surprisingly in the list, Manchester United are paying Sanchez more than Sheffield United's entire team earn.
Sheffield United pay their footballers £14 million a year, while Sanchez earns £21m annually.
That means he earns £16.5m yearly from Manchester United while he's on loan at Inter Milan who pay £4.5 million of his £21m annually.
Sheffield United's average weekly wage is the lowest in the Premier League at just £9,000 and by comparison Manchester United are in the 9th position in the current Premier League table, one point behind Sheffield United.
David de Gea is Manchester United's highest-paid player on £375,000 (Sh49million) a week followed by Sanchez who earns £350,000 (Sh46million) a week with Paul Pogba coming third on £290,000 (Sh38million) a week.
Another notable earner is Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder Victor Wanyama who earns a staggering 3,380,000 (Sh436million) annually.
That works out as approximately £65,000 (Sh8.3 million), per week for the Harambee Stars captain who now is 14th in Tottenham Hotspur’s latest Payroll.
Spurs‘striker Harry Kane and midfielder Tanguy Ndombele are Tottenham’s best-paid player with the two each earning £200,000 (Sh26 million) -a-week.
Also according to the fresh list, Mohamed Salah is the highest-paid player at Liverpool- earning £200,000 (Sh26 million) per-week followed by Roberto Firmino and Virgil Van Dijk with each earning £180,000 (Sh23 million) -a-week.
Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling are among the highest-paid players at the club earning £350,000 (Sh46million) and £300,000 (Sh39million) a week respectively with Sergio Aguero also featuring in the list at number three on a £230,135 (Sh30million) weekly salary.
Mesut Ozil, who has been struggling to get much playing time this season, and may move on this summer is Arsenal's best-paid player with a weekly salary of £350,000 (Sh46million) followed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who earns £200,000 (Sh26 million)-a-week.
Kepa Arrizabalaga and N'Golo Kante are the highest earners at Chelsea with the two each pocketing £150,000 (Sh19 million)-a-week.
